Cookies and website storage
Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains the limited cookie and storage practices used by the Geopromtec website in release 43. The site is designed for B2B inquiry handling, not behavioral advertising.
Effective 26 June 2026 · Release 43
This public document is maintained for the Geopromtec website and inquiry workflow. It does not replace legal advice for a specific transaction.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by a browser when a website needs to remember a session, preference, security state, or other limited information. Similar technologies may include local storage, session storage, pixels, and server logs.
2. Essential session cookie
The contact form may use a PHP session cookie to support CSRF protection, CAPTCHA validation, rate limiting, and secure form processing. This cookie is essential for reliable form operation and is not used for advertising.
3. Security and anti-abuse use
Session and request data help distinguish legitimate form submissions from automated spam, replay attempts, header manipulation, and excessive request volume. These controls protect visitors and the website operator.
4. Analytics and advertising status
Release 43 does not intentionally deploy advertising cookies, remarketing tags, behavioral profiling pixels, or third-party analytics scripts. If analytics are introduced later, this Policy should be updated before publication.
5. Third-party messaging links
WhatsApp, Telegram, email clients, and other external services may set their own cookies or collect usage data after you leave the Geopromtec website. Their practices are governed by their own policies.
6. Server logs
The hosting environment may generate logs containing IP address, user agent, request time, URL, referrer, response status, and security events. Logs are used for reliability, diagnostics, abuse prevention, and incident investigation.
7. Browser controls
Most browsers allow users to block, delete, or restrict cookies. Blocking essential cookies may prevent the inquiry form, CAPTCHA, or session-based security controls from operating correctly.
8. Consent and updates
Because the current website uses only essential security/session functionality, no advertising consent banner is deployed in this release. If non-essential cookies are added, consent and preference controls should be implemented where required.
9. Retention
Essential session information is generally short-lived. Server logs may be retained for a reasonable security and operations period, then deleted or overwritten according to hosting and compliance needs.
10. Contact
Questions about cookies or storage technologies may be sent to [email protected]. Please include the page URL, browser, and approximate time if reporting an issue.
