Privacy and data protection
Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Geopromtec LLC handles information connected with website visits, quotation requests, sourcing consultations, supplier coordination, and related business communication.
Effective 26 June 2026 · Release 43
This public document is maintained for the Geopromtec website and inquiry workflow. It does not replace legal advice for a specific transaction.
1. Controller and contact details
Geopromtec LLC operates this website and receives business inquiries through the contact channels shown on the site. The company contact address is Georgia, City Kutaisi, Avtomshenebeli str., N 88, (Free Industrial Zone of Kutaisi Hualing) 10. Privacy questions may be sent to [email protected]. Transaction documents, NDAs, data-processing agreements, inspection orders, and logistics instructions may contain additional privacy or confidentiality terms.
2. Information submitted by users
The inquiry form may collect full name, company name, business email, phone or messenger contact, country, inquiry category, preferred contact method, technical requirements, and privacy consent. Users should not submit unnecessary sensitive personal data, consumer data, passwords, payment-card data, medical information, or confidential third-party files through the public form.
3. Technical and security data
The website may process IP address, user agent, browser language, timestamp, requested URL, referrer, rate-limit events, security logs, and short-lived session data needed to operate the form. Server-side validation, a honeypot, CSRF protection, arithmetic CAPTCHA, and request limits reduce spam, replay attempts, and automated abuse.
4. Processing purposes
Information is used to respond to inquiries, clarify specifications, coordinate with relevant personnel, prepare commercial discussions, build supplier questions, maintain business records, prevent misuse, protect the site, and administer potential sourcing, inspection, packaging, printing, lighting, equipment, and logistics projects.
5. Legal bases
Depending on jurisdiction and context, processing may rely on pre-contractual steps, contract performance, legitimate business interests, legal obligations, consent, or another lawful basis. Legitimate interests include operating a B2B site, responding to commercial requests, maintaining security, preventing fraud, and documenting supplier/customer communications.
6. Cookies and tracking
Release 43 uses an essential PHP session cookie for form security and session handling. It does not intentionally use advertising cookies, behavioral profiling cookies, third-party tracking pixels, or remarketing tags. If analytics, embedded media, maps, chat widgets, or non-essential cookies are added, this Policy and the Cookie Policy should be updated before deployment.
7. Recipients and processors
Inquiry data may be accessed by authorized Geopromtec personnel and by necessary hosting, email, security, IT, supplier-coordination, inspection, logistics, customs, accounting, legal, or professional-advisory providers. Providers should receive only information needed for their function and should be subject to appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.
8. International transfers
Industrial sourcing may require communication with manufacturers, inspection partners, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and business contacts outside the visitor’s country, including China, Georgia, and destination-market jurisdictions. Geopromtec aims to minimize personal data and focus supplier communications on the company, project, product, destination, and lawful business purpose.
9. Retention and deletion
Inquiry records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for response handling, follow-up, transaction administration, dispute prevention, security, accounting, compliance, or legal-hold purposes. Session and CAPTCHA data are short-lived; commercial records may be kept longer for orders, claims, tax, customs, and statutory obligations.
10. Security and confidentiality
The site implements practical controls including HTTPS-ready configuration, security headers, no client-side secrets, server-side validation, session hardening, and rate limits. No internet service is risk-free. Trade secrets, drawings, formulas, artwork, or quality files should be sent only after confidentiality terms and secure transfer procedures are agreed in writing.
11. GDPR, UK GDPR, and similar rights
Where applicable, individuals may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or information about processing. Requests should identify the relevant inquiry or correspondence. Rights may be limited where retention is required for contracts, accounting, customs, security, legal claims, or other obligations.
12. CCPA/CPRA notice where applicable
Where California privacy law applies, the website is intended for B2B inquiry handling and does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising in this release. California contacts may request information about applicable categories of business contact data, correction, deletion, or other rights, subject to verification.
13. Children, sensitive data, and restricted requests
The website is intended for business users and is not directed to children. Geopromtec does not knowingly collect children’s information through the form. Requests involving illegal, controlled, unsafe, counterfeit, sanctioned, infringing, or restricted goods may be rejected and, where needed, retained for compliance or legal-defense reasons.
14. External services
The website may link to WhatsApp, Telegram, email clients, or third-party websites. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy practices, and Geopromtec does not control their data handling. Users should check external privacy settings before sending business information.
15. Automated decision-making and AI
The website does not make legally significant decisions about users through automated profiling. If internal productivity tools or AI-assisted internal tools are used to organize correspondence, human review remains required before commercial commitments, technical confirmations, or legal positions are issued.
16. Changes and contact
This Policy may be updated as services, legal requirements, hosting, analytics, or operational practices evolve. The effective date identifies the current public version. Privacy, retention, or deletion questions may be sent to [email protected].
